We’re still in last edits for this book. I’ve had professional editing done, which helped a bunch with some story line issues as well as some grammar things that I really should’ve seen myself before I sent it to her. I’ve gone over the book hundreds of times, but still…
Many of you know my husband is a lawyer, and he reads each line of each of my books before they go to the formatter. He’s very painstaking, and it takes a long time. I can’t tell you how grateful I am for him lending his proofreading skill to my books. But, at this point it appears to me, we’ll be looking at mid to late March for the book to be released.
I’m investigating using Pre-order buttons and will share that info once I’ve got a handle on it.
Weight Report: 15 pounds down! I can tell a real difference in the way my clothes fit and how much easier some fof the exercises at Pilates are! (Given that nothing in Pilates is easy!) Second batch of Nutrisystem arrived Tuesday. Pretty excited about this!

At one today, I’ll be presenting at a book club that meets at Arborlawn United Methodist Church. I know several people there and look forward to visiting with them and meeting new folks. I love going to book clubs. If you belong to one, and need a speaker, please consider asking me to come. I always bring SWAG! 
Tomorrow, Friday, Feb. 13 6:30-8:30. I, and quite a few other romance authors, will be at the Haltom City Public Library in northeast Fort Worth. In honor of Valentines, they are hosting a Meet a Romance Author event with free books, SWAG, chances to purchase books, and get your favorite author to autograph the book. And of course, CHOCOLATE. I’ve contributed a basket with VERMONT ESCAPE, a small book reading light, a bottle of Vermont Syrup, a box of Valentine heart candies, Chocolate, and a $5 bill!
Plus, I’ll give away small gift bags with goodies in them to anyone who stops by. Other authors attending include, Jerrie Alexander, Kym Roberts, Jeannie Guzman, Susie Sheehy, and, C.A. Szarek, Carolyn Williamson, Clover Autrey, Sylvia McDaniel, Susan Butler, Nancy Larson, and Mia London.
